Why Boys Should Dance
Society now a days looks down on men and boys taking dance class. We are here to turn that stereotype away! Dance can benefit boys in so many ways and they should take it for improving their athletic abilities! Parents should consider enrolling their boys in dance for the following reasons:
Strength
Dance will improve the strength of their muscles! This is so important for the athlete because without muscle strength, you are proned to more severe injuries that could
take years to rehabilitate!
Stamina
The nonstop of exercise that dance provides is great for the cardio and heart. It will help athletes increase their stamina to help with running, and other strenuous sports like football.
Balance and Cooridnation
TBoth balance will be improved through repitious exercises done on one foot, like spinning and turning which requires a lot of coordination of the muscles working together and tremendous amounts of strength. Dance also helps with hand eye coordination for the important throwers, catchers, and batters.
Flexibility
It is very important that athletes stretch their muscles. Without stretching and muscle flexibility an athlete could experience a lot of cramping and soreness. Also the lack of stretching and flexibility could lead to torn muscles!
